I started out looking for a bl...</title><content type='html'>Excellent article.  I started out looking for a blog on &amp;quot;Coping - after downsizing&amp;quot;  and I stumbled on to your page.  I&amp;#39;ve read a couple of your articles and think they&amp;#39;re great.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I would be interested in reading, any other articles you&amp;#39;ve done or know of on &amp;quot;The long term mental effect of downsizing&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am Canadian, and have been downsized twice from mid-management.  Once in 1994 from a government job, that I thought was secure and then again in 2001 from a US company that downsized in Canada then closed doors a year later.  Today, 16 years after my first downsizing, I find my self confidence is very fragile, and I feel this is an after effect of downsizing.
